This hunting lease is leased and not available. Here is a 650-acre tract in Clay County West Virginia that borders the Elk River. The property does have a section with river front access on the northeast corner so you can use it for fishing, kayaking, etc. The property has a good trail system throughout the property. County roads border this tract on the south and north ends. This property is mostly mature timber, but some areas were select cut several years ago. Plenty of oaks both white and red are present and should produce good mast. I found several good trails and plenty of tracks in the roads during my inspection even though a rain had come the night before. Bears are in this area as well as Turkey providing the opportunity to hunt all three big game species.

This property was recently purchased by the landowner as an investment property. The property does have a couple gates on it that can be closed and locked. You can also put up a gate if needed to control access.

Camping is OK for hunting purposes. ATVs are a must to get full access to this large property.

A wedding venue is a joining property and they rent out cabins and a farmhouse. They would be willing to rent to hunters if interested. Contact leasing agent when you plan to inspect this property. You will be able to park and unload your ATV at the wedding venue.
